Comenzamos el nuevo curso
escolar con la buena noticia de disponer de un auxiliar de
conversación para el nuevo año académico.La comunidad
educativa le da la bienvenida, deseándole un año lleno de
experiencias positivas.
Nuestra auxiliar se
incorporó el día 6 de octubre. Previamente visitó el colegio para
conocer al profesorado, alumnado e instalaciones del centro, así
como para conocer nuestro pueblo. Cabe decir que se sintió
emocionada ante lo novedad que para ella supuso visitar nuestro
entorno y conocer a alumnos y profesores.
Deseamos a toda la
Comunidad Educativa un año fructífero, tanto a nivel académico
como personal.
A continuación Lucy nos deja una pequeña presentación, contándonos algunos datos sobre ella y su vida:
Hello
my name is Lucy. I am 20 years old and I am from a city in England
called Liverpool. My city is large and has lots of exciting things to
do. We have a big shopping centre called Liverpool One, which my
friends and I enjoy going to. We also have two cathedrals! One
cathedral is old and very large, whilst the other is smaller but very
modern.
In
Liverpool I live with my family. In my house there is my mum: Anita,
my dad: Peter and my older brother: Graeme. We also have a pet dog
called Sam, he is a big white Labrador. I also have another older
brother called Lee who lives with his wife, Denise and their dog
called Eddie in their own house.
At home I attend the University of Chester, where I study Spanish because I am very interested in the language and the culture. I am looking forward to learning more about Spain and especially Porcuna.
In
my spare time I like to do lots of things. I enjoy being creative so
I spend a lot of time baking cakes and cooking meals, as well as
making cards for my friends and family. I also like to be active and
healthy, so I often go to the gym and I really enjoy swimming as I
have been doing this since I was very young. In addition, I love
spending time with my friends and socialising through going shopping,
to the picture or out for meals together. Finally, I spend a lot of
time with my family as we like to have lots of days out to the beach
or to the park to take our dog, Sam, for a walk.
